Description

Platycerium superbum – mounted on tree fern fibre backing (H-55cm W-50cm).

Found in rainforests throughout tropical Asia and Australia, this spectacular fern produces a nest of upright, bright green fronds. Large, antler-like, fertile fronds are found on mature specimens.

These staghorns naturally grow as epiphytes on trees. Easily grown in cool, moist, shady conditions. Ensure adequate moisture at all times. Protect from snails and slugs. In cold areas, reduce watering during winter to avoid rotting
